February’s #DoMagick Challenge – Focus Meditation!

As I mention in this months newsletter – the start of a new year is the perfect time to recommit to having a daily practice, whatever that practice may be. Meditation is one of the more beneficial daily practices because it helps in every aspect of a person’s life – from increasing focus, to decreasing stress. For magicians, meditation is a foundational skill we all need. So if you haven’t started a daily meditation practice, why not?

So here’s the deal — in February, I’m going to mix up my meditations to incorporate different techniques as well as moving meditations, and I’m going to challenge ALL OF YOU READING this blog to join me by either doing your own #DoMagick Meditation Challenge in February — or you can use my posts as your daily guideline to help build your daily practice!

To officially join the #DoMagick Challenge: http://www.domagick.com

My posts in February are going to be INSTRUCTIVE for those who would like to learn various techniques for meditation, and try a variety of methods. If you can’t do the full thirty minutes of focus, that’s okay. Try 10 minutes and slowly increase 5 minutes every seven days until you’re up to 30!

Think of my February #DoMagick posts as a FREE meditation class and feel free to ask questions or get help in the comments — or just #DoMagick!

Does this mean I won’t be posting my own results? No – of course not. I will definitely be posting my results and feelings about each meditation at the end of each post. Sometimes I may append the post at a later time if I need to sit on something for reflection. But the posts will come every day about the same time. Stay tuned. You can subscribe to this blog on the right to get posts delivered directly into your email!
