Day 6: FTW #DoMagick

Is that For The Win, or Fuck The World? You decide.

Today was round two of the chaos. Amid handing out the payroll that I did yesterday, I also finished up the billing, did my A/R reports, helped customers, did the deposits, and stayed until almost seven thirty to make a dent in six days worth of data entry. It was the least I could do for my co-workers considering I won’t be back into the office until Monday. Yes – tomorrow is a writing day (formatting and editing if there’s time) and then Friday through Sunday it’s a writer’s conference. Tomorrow I need to start packing, double check my notes (to make sure I have them), and this time I’m packing light. I can’t check in until afternoon, so the clothing suitcase will need to stay in the car, and I think I’ll just carry a small notebook, my tablet, and some notes in an oversized bag. Oh – and I have to drop off my books at the bookstore when I arrive. One panel Friday, hosting a table Friday night, then a book signing. Saturday I’m attending workshops all day and socializing with other writers. Sunday – I am booked solid from 8am to after the farewell luncheon. But seriously – it still seems like a vacation.

I likely won’t be posting my weekend blogs (Friday-Sunday) until Sunday night.

Tonight I did gentle stretching and a lot of sitting poses. My hips feel a bit tight, probably from all the sitting. But I needed to be gentle with myself today. It was a long day.

No cards pulled yesterday or today. I don’t need the tarot or the Lenormand to tell me the last two days were going to be a shit sandwich. I knew that going in already. LOL

Thank gods that part is over, The writing part of my week should be cake-walk after that.
