More Flash, Less Blah, Blah, Blah?

So a couple of things. First, I changed the main page of this site to a static web page. Initially the main page was just the blog. Now, to see the latest blog posts, just check the Recent Post list in the upper right header. There is also the Archive and the Search features if you’re looking for something specific. I would love to hear what you think about the changes and if you think this makes the blog more user friendly, or not. I’ve already been told it’s a bit “gray”, but I like that. ::shrug::

Next, I missed last month’s flash fiction with my crazy schedule. I have a lot of writer friends who write flash fiction in their blogs. Some do a Flash Fiction Friday. It gives readers something fun to read, it’s fun to write, and everyone has a good time. I am going to try to include one or two flash fictions a month for now on. I don’t know if I’ll do it on Fridays or not.  But I will put them all in the category “flash fiction” so you can search them, or click the category link and get a listing of all the ones I’ve written. That would be 2 so far if you count my frog fable, The Singing Frog, which might make a fun children’s book if my illustrator is up for it after the debut of Thunder the Wonder Raccoon!

In other news I am back on the challenge boards at FM. Nothing feels better than challenging myself, even if I do over-commit sometimes.

Thoughts? Complaints? Anything I blog too much about? Too little? I’d love to hear what you think.
