A Dukanté Excerpt

I found this particular imagery disturbing.  This is an actual journal entry from Richard Dukanté where he’s talking about entering dark caverns and facing one’s fears as a recipe for ascension.

It was in this cavern, the stone dripping blood that I met Horus. A bright light surrounded him like a fire, it was so bright I could scarcly look upon him. “I bear the eye.” The eye of Ra on the wall in blood and I looked down, my hands were bleeding as one might with stigmata. I feel a fear so great. To his right a doorway led me to an ice cavern, upon a throne of ice sat Caspiel with steel blue eyes, slitted pupils, and the horns of a ram. Then Caspiel and Lucifer and Horus became one and manifested into the Baphomet of Levi. I woke finding the ascension sigil no longer under the mattress but instead across the room on the tv stand, neatly placed on top a stack of old magazines. I am wondering if my fear reaction was to the imagery or the blood on my hands. Is this a metaphoric image or literal?
