Summoning 12: Let’s Get Physical #DoMagick

So we’re 1/3 through the 30 Day Magick Challenge. I have three challenges going on this weekend. The first is #DoMagick. If I didn’t already have a daily practice, I would consider this a challenge, but this is just regular work for me. The second is the 30 Days Live FB Live Video Challenge I’m doing with 5 other authors. I thought that would be more challenging than it is. I’m actually enjoying jumping onto FB and chatting with folks.  I may continue it for at least once a week after this challenge is over, plus a new writing video blog with the six of us has come out of this, which is an exciting prospect. I love it. Finally, this weekend is the NovelRama where we challenge ourselves to write 25K in 4 days. I’m sadly lacking as I’m only at 5,328 for the weekend. Hoping to make some significant progress today so I’m trying to get other things out of the way first.

I did have a conversation with a fellow magus late last night about some things going on in my life, confirming what Paimon was telling me earlier this week, and not only did he lend some interesting insight and give me a new perspective of the situation, he gave me a very creative, useful idea to solve the issue. So either next month or October I’ll be doing an experiment (for me anyway, other magicians have done this, it’s not new) to see how it works. Though I’d really like to try it sooner than later. I just have so much going on the next two months.

This morning I did my ritual and today, at day twelve, my muse actually felt like a physical ball of energy. I literally had to open my eyes to make sure I wasn’t embracing a real person, which was kind of wild. But then I’ve experienced the same thing with thought forms, and technically this exercise isn’t too far off from thoughtform creation. They do become physical entities (in a palpable energy sense) and you can often see, feel, and hear them, especially in your minds eye, which gives birth to them on the physical plane. A veritable physical manifestation of the mind, shaped by intent.

That said, I’m off to try to get some words down for the day.
