Day 28: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick

Today I woke up a little late, my mind foggy, and my sinuses wobbly. I have a slight cold, which sucks.  I finished my meditation in thirty minutes. I concentrated on getting editing done. I also thought a bit about writing because I need to get into the habit of editing AND writing every writing office day, and that has been one of my downfalls. I usually focus on one or the other for the day. Not both. It’s something I’ll be working on in 2018. Being able to manage both in a day’s time will help me get further.

Today’s meditation result: I finished the structural, revision, and line edits on DPM! Woot! Now it’s a final read-through, inserting sigils and graphics, and fixing any formatting or last-minute punctuation checks – all things I’m saving for the weekend. I also managed some writing on Falling From Grace (FFG).  Overall a super-productive writing office day and I’m very pleased with my progress. It looks like this configuration of my Sorath model is a keeper!  DPM is still on track and with any luck, I’ll still be releasing on December 31 for List members and Patreon supporters. The rest of you will have to wait until the first week of January to see the book start populating public retail outlets, and the ebook should also be available for pre-order at that time. ebook won’t be releasing until January 20th. I highly recommend the paperback or hardcover version of this one because there is a lot of bonus content.

Back to my day —  I was able to take some time to hang out with M tonight. Spouse time is important. It’s funny because on Thursdays we’re often both working from home, so it’s nice to take a break and meet up for lunch, dinner, or even just a chat break while getting coffee or a cold drink. It’s like we work in the same “office building” and the kitchen is our breakroom.
