Magick,  the writing life

Day 18: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick

This morning I did my thirty-minute meditation on getting things done at the office and headed to work. I woke up with this cold/flu I’ve been fighting, lingering. The headache, nausea, and hot and cold flashes got worse as the day wore on. I think it’s official. I have my first winter flu 2017/2018. Woohoo! LOL

Got a surprising amount done at the office today. Thank goodness the universe decided to be kind and not kick my ass with a shitty day like I thought would happen. The flu was a good alternative. Ha!

Then I had to laugh because an acquaintance of mine wanted to know what’s up and I was like, “Same crap different day.”  And she said, “I thought the life of a writer and magus would be exciting.”  I had to laugh because I hear that at least once a month and I often think to myself, what do people actually think happens in my life? What do they think the life of a writer and magus is like?  What kinds of excitement am I missing? I must think about this.
