Day 14: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick
I started out focused on Daemonolatry today for about thirty-five minutes. I knew a local Daemonolater would be stopping by to pick up her order and we ended up talking Daemonolatry for about three and a half hours. It was a nice afternoon. I love it when I feel like I can connect with someone who follows the same paradigm as I do. It turns out we have some of the same traditional thinking when it comes to magick, so I found that refreshing. She was a delightful guest.
Then I went to work on Daemonic Prosperity magick and managed 2,060 rough words and outlined what I still needed. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel on this book. But it’s still a few thousand words away at least. I think if I concentrate on this for the next week (about 40 more rough hours) I could have the entirety of the book finished and ready to go into editing (potentially by next Sunday, the 24th). This makes me happy because I’ve been dragging my feet on this one.
I spent some time chatting with one of my Seminarians about some traditional things and then listened to a fellow magician’s ideas. Lots of talented, creative magicians out there who have great ideas. And of course a lot of this dragged me away from my work today, which is Daemonic Prosperity Magick. But now that it’s about 8PM, I think I’ll get back to it and call this day another win for mindful meditation with the goal of getting more done!
