Day Two: Extremes #DoMagick
Yesterday I managed to finish the entire air sequence + meditation and chakra balancing, and then I had insomnia until three in the morning, and some vivid dreams. I won’t go into the dreams because they’re too personal, but suffice to say they are pretty obvious in their meaning.
So how this week is going to go:
- Day 1- Earth (DONE)
- Day 2- Air (DONE)
- Day 3 – Fire
- Day 4 – Water
- Day 5 – Full sequence
- Day 6 – Whatever is needed.
- Day 7 – Whatever is needed.
Takeaway: Don’t do earth before air? Perhaps a better sequence would be Water, Air, Fire, Earth? So things flow more smoothly. Otherwise, the exhaustion to energetic is a little too jarring. Of course, I am not sure what I’m starting Friday. This is the weekend I’ll be at a conference. So I may save practice for early morning Friday, and afternoon Sunday, and whenever I get a chance on Saturday. They actually have morning and lunch break yoga at the hotel, but there’s a story there as to why I won’t go that’s best left untold.
I may be changing up the flow sequences a bit, too. I almost feel like I need far more movement. That’s why Weds/Thurs I might just move to Sun Salutations coupled with some deep stretching. My keywords for this weekend and next are CALM and CONFIDENCE. My mild social anxiety and introversion (which seems to get better as time goes on) could use both.
