Magick,  the writing life

Day 30: Not So Grande Finale #DoMagick

So yeah – this is it. And for the rest of the summer you won’t have to read my daily magick blog. Perhaps my monthly blogs will be more substantive.

On the upside I feel things finally moving again. This is just the beginning though as the real work is coming.

Today I woke up, opened the temple, had my coffee, went to work, took a co-worker out for a birthday beer (she bought me one last week) and then went to see my cousin in the hospital. Now I’m home and a bit tired and it’s probably time for some sleep so I can be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for Comic Con tomorrow. I’m only running two four hour shifts over the weekend (a lot of my writing cohorts are pulling 8am-7pm shifts over there, and sitting on panels and all that), but I wanted to dip my feet in the water before deciding to jump in. I’ve already decided that if I like it this year, I may just ask to be put on the waiting list for a Darkerwood Publishing Group table in the future.  🙂

There are some signs that my sigil is already working.  I am VERY impressed…  I have a lot of stress and anxiety. I think I need to start just shoving it all into sigil work. LOL  I’ll be the next Anne Rice (or well-known equivalent) at the rate I’m going.  Not that I’m complaining.

Anyhow – thank gods the daily blogging is over. Now I can concentrate on Sorath, which was an extension of this month’s work anyway.

Final Lenormand Card for the day:  Lilies:  Harmony and peace in the family. Learn to let shit go.  (All very relevant to a current situation with a family member.)  I like these cards. So far they’ve been very accurate.

What a beautiful way to end June.  July promises to be busy, too, but not nearly with the anxious ferocity that June came blazing in with.
