Day 5 – Yoga & Pranayama #domagick

Card of the day: Ace of Wands

This card is giving me the heads up that there is a creative career opportunity that will present itself.

To this end I was able to finish creating some magickal items for one of my friends/clients, which was a sorely needed creative outlet. It also gave me time to work on my own tablet.

The Work:

I started with five sun salutations, then moved into lion pose. I had some abdominal discomfort during fish pose, so let that go and alternated between plank and lion pose a few times. Then I did some basic sitting stretches and then moved into meditation and pranayama. Basic breath awareness, long exhales and cooling breath for about seven minutes. Then my alarm went off and I had to get to the rest of my day.

Things I noticed:  I am realizing I might have to question some priorities. If I want to move forward in one area, I may need to cut back in another. The problem is I take on too much, and that contributes to the self-sabotage, too.  Can I really serve two, three, four, or even five masters? I’m good and I can multi-task like nobody’s business. But it is starting to wear on me.
