The Paimon Factor

It’s that time of year again where I reflect on what I’m doing and how I can do things differently or better in the coming year. With this type of reflection and planning I often drop things that are no longer working for me, while taking note of what is working. I also find myself seeking advice from the Daemonic as needed.

This is what I have so far:

I made a rather difficult decision last night to drop the FM Merry-Go-Round blog tour in 2014. Don’t get me wrong – I love FM. I loved the Merry-Go-Round blog tour and the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself and this little blog.  I just feel like it’s time to do something a little different. I’ve done the FM-MGR Blog Tour for the last two years.

So instead of the cliché “writer writing about writing” bit, I think I’m going to come up with a list of my own topics for 2014. Plus I’ll have to decide on a regular posting day.  Clearly I need a schedule otherwise my posting habits are rather random. I am also planning to make an effort to blog regularly over on demonolatry.org next year. However, I’ll likely do my own topics there, too. Sadly the topic list from last year didn’t really inspire me. The best way to inspire myself, I suppose, is to make my own list. Right?

In other news, I’ve been rather busy doing some Goetic work for the upcoming Sacrae Infernales. I’m currently writing on DOM359. All the while I work on snippets of other books as the inspiration (or mood) strikes. It really is a wonder I finish anything, but then I’m pretty good at focusing on whatever I’m working on. Just ask my husband. I can sit in a room full of people and noise and tune it all out. It’s a gift (or a curse depending on perspective I suppose).  One thing is certain, with each passing year I realize just how much I love my job! 🙂

So, all of that said – I plan on having a modified release schedule up before month end, and possibly a new blogging day to announce. Hell, I might just stick with the 25th since it’s become habit.
