A Malkuth of Me,  the writing life

Summer Lull

Another tax quarter done with. It’s that time again where summer finds me either out in the garden, lounging on the deck, or behind my computer typing away. It’s that summer lull. I have deadlines and pending releases, certainly, but nothing major releasing for the next two months at least. That is unless you count my article The Path of Nasa & Alchemical Catharsis in the summer solstice edition of Qliphoth Journal III “The Cycles Ov Primal Kaos”. I am under Stefanie Connolli  (it’s a KAOS thing).  😉

In the meantime I keep slowly typing away on DOM359 and Rising Darkness in hopes both books manifest before September 21. Sadly for the next two weeks you’ll find me sequestered to my part-time accounting job because it’s trade show week and they need to make sure the office is manned. This week I also have to attend the funeral of my aunt, who lost her long fight with cancer last week.  May she rest in peace.

So lots of busy to-do’s, and admittedly I’m feeling mildly overwhelmed due to the sheer volume of what I need to get done. However, when chaos hits I just take it one day at a time and work through it. The key is to keep moving, even if it’s at a snail’s pace. Eventually the summer lull will pass and I’ll find myself actively speeding through autumn inspiration. I just sometimes wish I could add about five more hours to each day.
