Surgery & Mini Vacations

Yeah – I’ve absolutely been slacking on blog posting. Mostly because I had to have dental surgery (gum graft) last Friday and I was hopped up on Vicodin. With some of the silly and crazy dreams I was having I can only imagine anything I would have written wouldn’t have made a lot of sense.

But a three-day-mini vacation was well worth it and needed. I am recovering and healing and working on getting myself back into the swing of things. At the moment I’m drinking coffee through a straw. So there you go.

As for writing, I got a few sentences written over the weekend. Literally – a few sentences. And I had to shove them out of my foggy brain. I don’t know about anyone else, but clearly I cannot write while impaired or when being a lazy bum.

In other news, my bike tire has been fixed. Took it for a spin around the block the other night.  Now back to my liquid diet and your regularly scheduled programming. Tomorrow’s post – Horror Huh? How no one in Hollywood knows how to write a good horror flick anymore. What happened to good stories? Have they all already been told? Stay tuned…
