Time for another Monday report. I’ve almost reached my latest goal for this month’s sales. Of course eBook week promotions helped. Though not as much on the Brice titles as I’d hoped. That’s the thing about writing and marketing is you actually have to run a campaign then weigh the sales data and web traffic to see what is working. Right now – the Anne O’Connell promotions are making the most impact. I gave away over 117 copies of Nice Girls Don’t and Sincerely Megan last week. Yes – freebies. But it’s worth it if half those people decide to check out Training Amy or Weekend Captive. I also had quite a few free copies of Left Horse Black given away. My fantasy novels really are a labor of love and at $1.99 an eBook they’re a steal. Especially for the work I put into them. Outer Darkness’ numbers did improve at .99 cents, but not by much, which goes to prove it really is a niche novel. That price goes back up this week so snag it at .99 cents if you still can. Sincerely Megan is still at .99 cents for the rest of the month. It goes back up to $1.99 in April. Another surprise seller – Honoring Death: The Arte of Daemonolatry Necromancy. It’s more popular than DG, KRoB, and DGDM. Wow. Of course my friend Bridgette tells me she’s not surprised because I bring a surprising human element to the art of necromancy (whatever that means). Thanks, Brid! 🙂
It’s fun to see which searches are most often done for me on the web and which pages on this site are visted often. The Anne O’Connell and erotica pages (including excerpts) are the most popular. But it is nice to see people looking through other parts of the site and looking at excerpts of my other work as well. S. Connolly and things to do with magick and Sephira Alchemy are the second most looked at pages. I suppose Audrey needs a few more novels under her belt before she’s really sought after and again – the fantasy novels are a labor of love. Nonetheless, for a niche Indie and small press author, 5,000 books in half a month isn’t bad. Well, that’s all for today. I’ve got a lot going on this week so I’ll see you all around!
Thanks for reading! 🙂
