Ms. Amanda Hocking – a hard working Indie Author whose books were the right price at the right time in the right genre – and who sells hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of copies. She would tell you how much work being a writer is (especially when you’re Indie). I won’t rehash my rant about how writing is actually work. While she is not the typical Indie, I guess neither am I. I still contend there are more authors like *me* out there (those of us making $40K-$80K a year writing and selling 5,000-10,000 copies a month) than people would like to believe. But I’m pretty sure authors like Ms. Hocking are rare indeed. It’s nice to see other Indies do well. Not because we think we can emulate their success (since success is sometimes just random like that), but rather because it’s good to know that hard work does have the potential to pay off – even as an Indie.
On that note – *Training Amy* is still doing very well and is still getting stellar reviews. I am working on the next novella there, but to be honest my focus right now is on the Brice novels and my private NF Esoteric project (which is super close to being done). I’ll probably put out three to four more books this year. Surrender: Tales of Submission should be out very soon (within the week). I’ll post a link once it shows up on Amazon.
Thanks for reading everyone! 🙂
