I am SO happy I’m not going grocery shopping today. I’m trying to move it back to weeknights. Why? Because you can actually move through the store a lot easier on a Monday or Tuesday night at 7:30 or 8:00 pm. The lines are shorter. You aren’t playing dodge cart. Don’t get me wrong, I like people just fine – just not in large groups.
Having dinner with my sister Thursday night. I’m really excited about that. We both get so busy we don’t always have the opportunity to get together without the kids or the guys. She and I need to make a standing “girls night” once a month or something. My sis is also a writer. It’s probably genetic. ;-P
So let’s see – feeling a bit disorganized. I have so much going on it’s sometimes amazing I get so much done. After all, I have a full-time day-job, I have my husband, I have friends and family, I have my magical work, I have my garden, and I have my writing on top of that. Let’s just say I don’t get a lot of sleep. LOL! Found out last night (as I was writing my little heart out) that I’m very close to finishing another book. This revelation smacked me upside the head when I realized that I was closer to the end than the beginning. It’s at that point where you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Being prolific; it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. (A lot of things aren’t.)
Then I really need to get back to the writing work with actual deadlines. Sometimes a project pushes and shoves its way to the front of the line and I have no choice but to deal with it. ::sigh::
Hope this post finds you all well and enjoying your Sunday!
