It’s Friday again. It hasn’t been a dull week around here. As a matter of fact, on the day-job front, things have been pretty crazy. A tower was killed down in the Springs (horrible situation that was) and today someone fire bombed a car in the impound yard (evidently they were trying to hide evidence of something). ::sigh:: Of course being busy means I’m keeping myself out of trouble. Amongst the day job and writing, not much else is going on. OFS rescheduled an initiation for March or April so everyone could attend. Instead, it looks as though three of us are going to go have lunch tomorrow at our classic haunt. I have every intention of writing this weekend, but I have tons of other stuff I want to do. If I’m by the hardware store I might pick up some seeding soil (nothing going on except growing in the seedling garden right now). I need to make cushion covers for the couch to keep the cat hair off, but first I want to clean the upholstery. Cats are dirty little creatures. Our geriatric feline triad pukes on the carpet often and, when they don’t get their way, they crap on the floor as a form of sharing their displeasure with our actions. Of course it doesn’t help that this only makes Matt stomp around the house hollaring at them more. LOL! I guess they like that. It’s attention at least and that’s what they want.
On the writing front – it’s all coming along. Just really – nothing super exciting in writing this week unless you count an article I read in PW where a book reviewer thought it amusing to call all writers delusional. ::snort:: Without writers so many people would be out of a job. Just sayin’… I was not amused and neither were a lot of other writers.
That’s all for now. Catch you all on the flip side!
