Summoning 4 – Relaxation #DoMagick

Today I did my ritual as written and followed up with my usual meditation. After that, I added some strength training exercises just to get the blood pumping.  I did not do my grocery list last night. Instead the exceptional spouse and I decided to do like real people and go to the grocery store later today. I’ve been spoiled with curbside pickup, and will continue using it. I just need to get some walking in.

So with regard to writing – aside from the blog, my scheduling, emails, and typing up readings for people – I haven’t done any writing on any of the books, but I think I needed some downtime. I think this is a lesson in relaxation and not feeling frenzied by the constant dinging of my phone, which no longer happens now that I removed FB and Messenger off of it. Really – that was one of the best things I could have done for myself. Because the past 48 hours I’ve been present for my life again, and it’s been so relaxing.

I’m looking at the lack of writing as my mind’s break. Some well-deserved downtime, free of constant distraction. I’m hoping this will all start translating into more words on the page in the coming days.

Now for today’s cards:

  • Crossroad: This card suggests multiple opportunities. Now that I’ve freed up some time, I can give space to different opportunities.
  • Queen of Coins/Pentacles: Practical, down to earth stability. Now is time for balancing. I’m rather enjoying the balance.

That’s it for today. This is a short post, but I’ve got some things to do that don’t involve me being glued to the computer so I’m going to take advantage of that.
