Day Eight: The Power Divine #DoMagick

I don’t have a lot to say on this day eight of the #DoMagick challenge. First things first. I am keeping handwritten notes about my work. This does not mean I’ve been blogging every day. Once again, finding time to blog has fallen to the back burner in favor of meeting deadlines. On the upside, I really enjoyed my editing time. I felt empowered and it was like a spiritual retreat for me today. Like I tapped something divine within myself. It reminded me how much I actually love writing and story-telling. While I did do my readings, I shirked all other responsibilities from domestic chores to volunteer work. I think I really needed to say – “Screw it!”

I did not pull cards today. Instead, I finished all the line edits and did readings. That’s it. Tonight’s meditation was uneventful and showed me just how much sleep I need. I’ve been fighting a cold.
