Informal February #DoMagick

Due to my extremely chaotic publishing schedule and how January’s mayhem office move kicked my ass – I was thrown behind on my current projects, which means February is my catch up, month. So while I will be participating in February’s challenge informally — I will not be blogging daily. I may just write one blog a week. That way you can all get a feel for what I’m working on and how the week went, and I won’t be going crazy trying to find a half hour a day to blog. When you’re on a deadline crunch, a half hour is a lot of time to spend on blogging.

So in February I am going to be doing Chakra meditations every night. I normally do them 2-4 times a month in place of my regular meditation practice. But I need balance and energy in the coming month in order to weather the chaos, so I’ll be replacing my regular evening meditations with the chakra balancing meditation. Nothing fancy or overly formal. Just daily practice!

Today’s Card:  The Hierophant — It’s time for me to examine my roles and beliefs as a teacher and what that says about my responsibility to those I mentor. This has actually been a common theme this past week as the Seminary Priests I’m mentoring have been working to restructure an organization and its methods of teaching.  This card is asking me to assess my higher calling.  Am I doing what I “should” do? Or what I actually believe in?  I am notorious for doing what is right (giving lots of chances) as opposed to doing what I believe. Hmm.  Food for thought.
