Magick,  the writing life

Day 20: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick

Did my 30 minutes mediation this morning and then rushed to work. I concentrated on getting the office squared away and going grocery shopping tonight. These are the things that have to be done that, if I were single, I’d just say screw the groceries and go with an empty refrigerator until I could be bothered to shop. LOL  My husband is probably good for me because he keeps me grounded and reminds me that we still have to clean the house and eat once in awhile.   Back when I was single, I’d clean when the clutter got to be too much (every 2-4 weeks), and I’d eat when I found time (usually once a day and often not at home).

Ah well – the married, working life.  Love it.  That said I have SO much to do between today and Saturday. Aside from the writing bits, I still need to wrap all the gifts, vacuum the house (the parents are coming over for xmas dinner this year), clean the kitchen and bathroom floors, pick up catfood, which will run out on Monday otherwise, and I think that’s about it. I HOPE that’s it. LOL. I need to stop by my sister’s Saturday to drop stuff off, then my brother’s, and I need to remind M to send his family their gifts, too.  I might try to get the gifts wrapped tomorrow so I can go with M to a friend’s for an eggnog making party Friday.  <——Oh wait – maybe that’s part of my exciting writerly life?

Maybe that should be part of my 2018. Make a list of exciting things that happen.  That way when people ask me what’s new with me I can share an exciting thing instead of saying, “Same crap, different day.”  🙂
