Day Seven: Meditation Challenge #DoMagick

Did thirty-five minutes of meditation this morning, focusing on writing. Of course, I found it hard to focus today because at two I had a dentist appointment that took almost two hours of my afternoon. That seems to be one of my procrastination issues. If I have too much to do, I tend to focus on the errands or appointments and have a hard time getting into my work. Probably because I lose track of time when I’m working and I hate being interrupted, especially when I’m on a roll. So I worry that I’ll get too involved in my work and miss the appointment (I have done this before and it’s VERY embarrassing). It’s honestly a wonder I get anything done with as many appointments and to-do’s distracting me.  Squirrel! Then again, this hasn’t been the best year for productivity for me and 2018 looks like it’s going to be super busy. I don’t want to think about it. LOL One day at a time…

I’m off to try to get a little more writing done before the end of the day. I’m celebrating the small victories. Some days it’s harder than others.
