I feel compelled to take a moment to share the history of this series and how it came to be. I initially wrote Training Amy back in 2011 as a stand alone novel, but it soon occurred to me that there was a story in Brad and Kali.

I happily took on the challenge of writing Brad and Kali’s story in Switched in 2012. I hadn’t intended on writing any more books in that particular “world”. However, readers insisted they needed more Amy and Eric. At this point I realized what I was writing was series work, so I came up with a name for the series (Gilded Lily) and wrote the third book, Black Lily.  It appears there is another book in Gilded Lily series and it’s completely different from the first three.  It is tentatively titled Taming Trish, the story of Master Hildolf (from his point-of-view). I think it’s about time I delved into the mind of a Dom for one of these books, don’t you agree?  So for fans of Training Amy — you’re going to LOVE Black Lily because it may just answer the burning questions you’ve had. There may be another Brad and Kali book in the future (no mafia). No promises, but I am leaving the option open. I do take reader opinion into account when it comes to the characters they love.

When I first began writing Amy I had no idea just how big the story was. What I’m most proud of about these books is that none of them is like the one before it. They’re all different. They all, technically, stand on their own.  Together, however, they tell a larger story.
