When Good Themes Go Bad
You’ll noticed a new look to my website. As it turned out when I upgraded my WordPress installation to the new 3.4 my old theme crashed and died a horrible death. I was stuck for several hours with a “broken” website while I searched into the wee hours of the morning looking for a replacement theme that had some of the same functionality as the old one (not an easy task, I assure you).
The site you’re looking at now is what I’ve come up with. It still needs some personalizing, tweaking, and modification and it might look a bit funny for awhile. At least until I figure out how to make it work.
The good news is no content was maimed or damaged during the site revamp and I only lost about three hours of sleep (maybe four). I also didn’t lose any valuable writing time.
Feel free to poke around and tell me what you think of the site revamp in the comments below!

And once you get done messing around with it, the theme will look really silly…or maybe that is only true in my own universe.

I would not doubt it. LOL! Not sure how I feel about it yet. My friend, Ellen, was right. There’s a bit of a disconnect between all my pen names and I wonder if that’s a good thing or not.

This kind of thing happens to me all the time. I use an e-commerce shopping cart called Zen-Cart. It’s free and there’s a boatload of free utilities to use with it, and the community rocks(will pretty much help you out with any problem you are having) but unfortunately whenever a new version of the cart comes out, sometimes it completely breaks the templates I am using and calls for pretty much a complete site overhaul. To be honest the site is in this situation right now, where some of the little extras don’t work, but I’m just too busy right now to totally revamp the thing.
This new theme seems pretty nice, though. It’s a little bit grey, but I never mind that really because it makes it easier to read. 😀
