A Malkuth of Me,  Updates

It’s True

Yes folks, the rumors are true. The completed Infernal Colopatiron was sent to my editor over this past weekend and I’m sending at least the first part of Into Darkness into editing this weekend. For ID we had to find another editor because my usual editor at Darkerwood had a death in the family. Really, if it hasn’t been one thing it’s been another with this book.

With any luck IC will be finished, proofed and off to the printer by the end of the month provided nothing major is wrong with the MS. The beta reaction was wonderful.  And I really am hoping we’ll have Into Darkness well on the path to production by months’ end. It’s been a frustrating road with that one. I pray Rising Darkness won’t experience the same delays. But the good news is that once I get both IC and ID off my plate – it’s Switched that is getting my full attention(in the fiction arena).

In the NF area – My Name is Legion is currently in editing. I have two volunteer editors working on it right now. I’ve also been working with an artist on Grimorium Daemonolatrie. Speaking of which I need to get her some pics. Mike and I have talked about what we’re doing there.  Grimorium Daemonolatrie is slated for release next autumn or winter, depending on our funding for the project. Official Melissa is an expensive little endeavor and it needs to pay for itself. That means that in order for the next book to be released, the first one has to pay for itself and generate enough income to pay for the printing of the next book. Each book will need to bring in a certain amount of money before we can print the next. That’s how it works when you’re doing actual print runs. Your printer and binder have to be paid up front.

There are some other projects in the works, too. But for now I’ll leave it at that. Any books beyond those mentioned here are Summer 2012 or later unless otherwise specified.
