Post-Vacation Update

Finally, my post vacation update! Yes – I skipped posting anything while I was on vacation except for my FM Blog Tour post. But I was busy. I was busy working on IC and cleaning my house. I’m happy to report that my house is much cleaner than it was pre-vacation. But I also realize that to thoroughly clean, I’d need about two months off. That would get me through all the crap in the basement and through all the totes in my office closet. What I loved was being able to get up early, have coffee, and get some writing done first thing in the AM.

IC is almost done and I finished some other projects I was editing. With any luck IC will be finished by the 30th and I can move on to the final touches on ID (which is moving brutally slow).  I actually had to ask for help with editing on “My Name is Legion”. So I have two volunteers and I’m excited about getting that book put together. I think I bit off more than I could chew. I need to focus on the Anne novels and novellas for awhile after all this. People are wanting Switched and Her Demon Lover and I have every intention of getting both of them to my readers soon. Switched is already started. HDL is in the outline stage with a few scenes written. Regardless I think December might just be a productive month for me overall. Most of my Yule shopping is done except for a niece and nephew and I still haven’t festooned the living areas.  And I have only committed to one butternut squash casserole. I might attempt some Lebkuchen (a delicious German fruit cake) as well.

I was also given a VBA (Versatile Blogger Award) from bdsm erotica author Shelby Cross and I really want to do that post and pass on the VBA so hold on to your hats! It’s coming! I’m just coming out of my vacation coma slowly and I need to gather up links and e-mail addresses to inform the blog authors they’ve been picked.  What a fun idea! 🙂

My post for the 25th this month in the FM Blog Tour is already scheduled. Life is good!  So that’s why I’ve been so quiet and what’s been up. Just working as diligently as ever and looking forward to going part time at the day job in January.
