Opinionated Bitch

That’s right. I admit it. The older I get the more politically incorrect and opinionated I become.  I probably ought to just keep my opinions to myself, but sometimes it’s just so easy to tell people how I really feel. And it feels awesome to get it off my chest.

The downside to this (obviously) is I tend to piss a lot of people off.  ::shrug:: It can’t be helped.  A friend of mine told me that as a writer, for PR, I should really keep my opinions, especially political and social, to myself or risk alienating my readers. I was like, “You’ve read what I write, right?”

Like I said in my previous post, I’m a realist. Not a bleeding heart liberal and not a cold conservative. Moderation is key.  I’m beginning to think I need to moderate my opinions more. LOL! Ah, well, can’t have everything.

So I set up my dental surgery, got caught up with accounting stuff, and I’ve managed a few thousand words revision this week. Today the painting foreman swings by to go over the house painting with my husband. Tonight is free pie night (as if I need pie).  Maybe tonight I actually WILL get more writing work done. I do know that once I am no longer distracted by the whole house renovation thing –  I’ll be able to concentrate more.
