Author Profile: Lisa Adams

I first met Lisa back in 2005 when we both had publishing contracts with ArcheBooks Publishing alongside writers like Dana Reed and P.M. Griffin. We ended up sitting on panels together at the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writer’s Colorado Gold Conference that year. Good times. Sadly, it turned out our publisher wasn’t all that and a bag of chips, so we both ended up rescinding our contracts and moving on to greener pastures. Me to Darkerwood Publishing and Lisa to Village Green Press.  This year Village Green Press has re-released her wonderful book Assassin’s Cafe (formerly Bound Justice) just in time for summer reading!

I love Lisa’s work. I don’t think I’m biased just because we’re friends either. She has this style that is both succinct and literary while also engaging.  A review of Assassin’s Cafe forthcoming! Not to mention I think I’ve talked Lisa into being my first Guest Blog Victim, er, Author!

Lisa’s latest novel, Assassin’s Cafe is really a lot of fun and reasonably priced on both Kindle and Nook! Check her out! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Also, check out her publisher’s website.

Forthcoming later this summer is her novel Lord of War (also through Village Green) which I’ve been patiently waiting for since 2005 (lol). So it will be really exciting to get my hands on a copy of that. Keep your eyeballs peeled and watch for Lisa’s Guest Blog!
