Wobble Wednesday
Evidently Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall down. Just so you all know…
So today is day three of the exterior renovation of the house. Evidently the roofers called this morning wondering if they could start work Friday. Problem is, we don’t know if the stone contractors will be done with the front steps and porch by then (they told us they may be done tonight!). This morning they were putting in the fill and grading it away from the house and by noon I got a picture showing a full PaveStone patio. I suspect by late today at least some of the stone will have been set. Then they have to finish the stone pad in the backyard for the new shed. The stone for that is being delivered today. I don’t know why but I’m feeling somewhat anxious about this because it will be so nice to have it done.
Now to the writing front – still working on fixing the scene at Eric Baca’s. This is the pivotal turning point of the novel. In one of my writer groups (an online one) a few of us are trying to organize a way of “group blogging” without opening a group blog. So I really hope all of you will keep your eyes open for that. It will be a great opportunity for you to follow links from this blog to the blogs of other writers who may tickle your reader’s fancy. So heads up!
Now off to do some data-entry. Still helping out at the family business, but it’s totally worth it to be able to fix up the house. If you’re on my FB – pics forthcoming. It’s SO beautiful…
